Dollar Tree-Any Fresno store

23 Sep

0 of 5 Stars

I almost dread having to go to this store.

Not because I will go in for 1 or 2 items, pick up whatever I fancy, all along saying, “hmm, it’s only a $1” & come out with more than $20 of items ;P

It’s also not  because the ghetto-ness varies from store to store; But if you have to go with toddlers or babies-Plan ahead!

This is a VERY un-baby friendly store.

Very, VERY rarely will you find a Dollar Tree store where they will allow you use of a public restroom, which therefore takes away any changing table (which they don’t have anyways), & FORGET anywhere to nurse!

So in (very) short, Not baby/toddler/Nursing Friendly. You’re better off almost anywhere else :-/

If you’ve been to a Dollar Tree Store & had a better experience, PLEASE, let us know which one 🙂

5 1/2 Stars out of 5

Pros:

  • Have a WONDERFUL nursing room
  • Changing table in nursing room
  • Have a child seat in the handicap- so you can buckle your child in & not have to worry about them while you use the restroom, GENIUS!
  • The staff is INCREDIBLY helpful!! I mean so helpful I thought maybe they were getting a commission or something!

Cons:

  • It’s not a restaurant that you can also eat there w/ the same conveniences you can use while you shop
  • No rewards program

Personal Experience:

Ok, I am not being paid to write any of these reviews, but I can not rave enough about this place!

I LOVE going to this store. I kid you not, I would plan my errands & trips around this place.

This store has THEE best freakin nursing room I have EVER utilized! Ever. The environment is tranquil, CLEAN, & com-for-ta-ble!! Now when you think that they sell this stuff, so how hard was it for them to put it in a specific room. YET, there are other stores that sell these SAME items & DON’T do the same thing *cough-babies r’ us*

At one point I literally would take all of my babies r’ us ads into this store to buy my stuff because I got a taste of the good life, a wonderful nursing room! hahaha, ok I know I’m going on & on about it, but especially when you’re a new frazzled mom, having a great nursing room where you can relax for a feeding is just one of the best things you can get as a mom.

The staff is incredibly helpful & knowledgeable, they are very professional & make you feel like a valued customer.

Regal Manchester Stadium 16 (Signature Theater)

            2055 E. Shields Ave. Fresno, CA 93726

4 Stars out of 5 Stars

Pros:

  • Have changing table in bathroom
  • Have booster seats (who knew!?)
  • Can park your stroller next to your seat in the front rows

Cons:

  • No designated nursing room
  • The sound of the movies can be REALLY loud, especially for little ears.

Personal Experience:

Taking babies or small children can get controversial amongst movie go-ers. When they are small they are more portable, sleep longer & don’t want to run up & down the aisles. BUT, the movies can be VERY loud for them which is why some people have them wear something to block some of the sound. While there is no designated nursing room, the theater is dark enough that you feel you have some privacy…hoping no stranger is sitting right next to you : p

Depending on the movie (kids movie or not) people will tolerate some noise from your kids, but non-kid movies…not too much.

I’d say this theater is about as kid/baby friendly a movie theater can be.

4 stars out of 5
Pros:
  • Long counter in women’s restroom you can use as changer.
  • Nursing room, but no chair in there
  • Popcorn machine, soda & cookies
  • Plenty of couches to sit on or kids to crawl up & down off of
  • Baby changer in mens restroom w/a shelf next to it to place your stuff on.
Cons:
Of course the place is not baby proofed (not expecting that) but for children who are early walkers the sharp corners on tables are a caution. As well as lamps & other expensive furnishings mean you’ll have to keep your third eye on them to make sure you’re not buying any “extra” items 🙂
  • Didn’t see a changer, you can use the long counter but obviously there are no safety straps.
All in all it is pretty child, baby & parent friendly 🙂
